The Red Nose That Grows-
How cool is this? For £4.50 you can purchase a 100% composable Red Nose Wildflower Seedbomb that transforms into beautiful wildflowers.
‘Made with a starch and natural fibre-based PaperFoam shell, peat-free compost, UK native seeds and biodegradable and recyclable glue-free cardboard packaging. The Red Nose that Grows will biodegrade into the environment leaving only beautiful wildflowers behind’
The Re-vamped Red Nose-
Have you seen the new nose for 2023?
This years nose is made almost entirely from plant based materials and paper. It starts as a tiny, flat crescent and springs into a beautiful honeycomb-paper sphere.
Personally, I am not hugely convinced about the durability of the paper but time will tell!
Make your own Nose-
-Make or Pompom or crochet a circle.
-Cut up an egg box, paint one of the cup shapes red and attach around your head with string.
-Use good old red face paints.
Dress up-
Although it is nice to have ‘this years’ t-shirt to wear to school or work it is not necessary. You could wear a previous years top, buy one from a charity shop or even get creative and customise a top you own.
Cake sale-
For years, cake sales have been a great way to raise money in schools and offices. For a more eco friendly cake sale, avoid shop bought to cut out unnecessary packaging, buy your ingredients locally, and buy ‘Fair Trade’ labelled ingredients.
Donate any leftovers to a shelter/food bank or care home.
